“Change”

“The first law of the universe is “Change”, everything is in flux or change every moment. Ten years ago, some folks had a dream that someday there would be no use for “toxic genetic chemicals”.

That someday we would wake up and find “alternatives” that were better and safe to use. That we would be using more of our minds and respond rather than react. That there would be places we could go to educate ourselves to “Low Tech, Common Sense” approach to our lives and the environment

“Compost”

“Compost comes from the slow organic breakdown of plant matter by weather, time and microbes. Organic matter’s final stage is a perfect food for these life giving microbes. The stages before are beneficial: nutrient rich, environmentally friendly leaves, grass clippings, woody material and weeds that turn into black soil. This black soil is “mother’s milk” to plants because it carries all the nutrients a plant needs to grow with, in a form the plants love!”

“Changing the Spec’s”

“I consult to Yankee stadium and stood at first base in the Spring of 2000 with the superintendent dan Cunningham and pointed to first base and said, “Danny, this is where Lou Gehrig’s dis-ease (Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis) started. You can become the premeier superintendent of the United States if you get rid of the toxic genetic chemicals and go organic”.

He said, “Well, we don’t spray as much as we used to””

“How Does Your Garden Grow?”
